Go Auto launches app with Canada's best hockey players
Go Auto teams up with Connor McDavid, Bo Horvat, and Hal & Joanne from BodyBreak
Go Auto has added Bo Horvat to their roster, and teamed him up with Connor McDavid, and Hal & Joanne from BodyBreak fame, to highlight the company’s value and service commitment to Canadian car buyers. The campaign was developed by Go Auto’s agency partner ROUND.
Go Auto, based in Edmonton, is one of the largest automotive dealership groups in Canada with 55 locations and 25 new vehicle brands accessible through goauto.ca. Go Auto is one of the only dealership groups in Canada with all their dealerships, brands and vehicles listed under one website (goauto.ca).
Working with Round, Go Auto launched their ‘Let’s Go’ campaign in 2020. The brand campaign is now entering its 4th year, and has featured Connor McDavid, captain of the Edmonton Oilers, for the last 2 years. Hal & Joanne from BodyBreak, joined the Go Auto team in 2021 and were featured along with Connor in last year’s very successful ‘He’s A Natural’ campaign.
Go Auto has added Bo Horvat, captain of the Vancouver Canucks, to the roster, for the start of the 2022-23 hockey season. With the company expanding quickly in BC, the addition of the high-profile Canuck player brings significant attention to the Go Auto brand in this important market. The latest campaign highlights how the new Go Auto app makes owning a vehicle easier, less expensive, and more enjoyable. With the Go Auto app customers can book service appointments, pay for service, view their service history, collect rewards, and receive discounts. The new Go Auto app supports the company’s mission of removing the stress from shopping and servicing a vehicle, making the process as easy, fun and affordable as possible.

The latest campaign, “Memorable”, speaks to all Canadian car buyers to let them know the advantages of the Go Auto app. The integrated campaign includes a :30 second spot that features Connor and Bo touting the benefits of the Go Auto app in a variety of entertaining and memorable ways. There’s even a nice surprise music video for those viewers that scan the QR code in the spot. The campaign also includes a series of still ads featuring the 4 Canadian celebrities.
