Go Auto has teamed up with Connor McDavid and Hal & Joanne from BodyBreak fame to highlight the company’s value and service commitment to Canadian car buyers. The campaign was developed by GoAuto’s agency partner ROUND.

The company was founded in 1996 by Mike Priestner as Auto Group (MPAG), with the purchase of Kentwood Ford in Edmonton. Following the launch of the company’s first integrated campaign in 2020, ‘Let’s Go’, the latest evolution of the campaign features Connor McDavid, captain of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers, and Hal & Joanne from BodyBreak. Go Auto has one of the largest vehicle inventories in Canada, and a 24/7 team of personal shoppers to help car buyers compare vehicles, find the best deals, book appointments and more. Go Auto’s mission is to remove the stress from shopping and servicing a vehicle, making the process as easy and fun as possible. The new campaign highlights how the customer experience with GoAuto can be very enjoyable.

The latest campaign speaks to all Canadian car buyers and lets them know that Go Auto makes the shopping and ownership of vehicles easy, fun and affordable. The integrated campaign includes a :30 second spot that features Connor being trained by Hal & Joanne on how to sell cars. We learn that Connor is just as good at selling cars as he is at hockey. There are also 2 :15 second spots, both featuring Hal & Joanne. One spot has the pair demonstrating the roominess of an SUV, while in the other spot the pair are causing a visual distraction in the service bay. The campaign also includes a series of still ads featuring the 3 Canadian celebrities.
